Dr. Oxana Arkhitko graduated with distinction from the University of Toronto in 2005 with a Bachelor of Pharmacology and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees.
She has 12+ years of working experience as a family and cosmetic dentist providing a broad spectrum of dental procedures.
Dr. Oxana Arkhitko has received extensive training in the field of dental implantology. She is certified to both place and restore dental implants. Dr. Oxana is also a certified Invisalign provider who has successfully finished numerous cases with “invisible braces”.
Dr. Oxana Arkhitko is actively involved in advancing her dental education by attending dental conventions and continuing education programs. She is interested in the newest advances in dentistry to be able to provide the best treatment to her patients. Dr. Oxana is a member of the Muskoka Simcoe Dental Society and Ontario Dental Association. She develops an honest and informative professional diagnosis to all her patients, followed by gentle dental care in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.
Dr. Oxana is very experienced in treating children. Her desire to create a positive and trusting relationship with every child is based on her passion to eliminate the fearful behaviour towards dentistry that many patients develop as children. Dr. Oxana knows numerous techniques aimed at making a child of any age feel comfortable and confident in the dental chair. As a mother of two, she is very attentive to the needs of her younger clients.
Outside of work, Dr. Oxana enjoys exploring Barrie and Lake Simcoe area which have become her home since 2005. Dr. Oxana is happy when her patients become her friends. As a dentist who lives in the Barrie community, she is attuned to the family-based lifestyles of her patients and to their dental treatment needs.
